Tiana Suazo
Tiana Suazo currently works at the Center of Southwest Culture as the CODECE Program Manager, where she supports Indigenous and Mexicano/Chicano farmers and ranchers through technical assistance, grower resources, and market-focused programming that bridges traditional knowledge with modern food systems. A member of Taos and Jemez Pueblos and former Executive Director of the Red Willow Center on Taos Pueblo, she has led farm operations, youth programs, and a farmers market while expanding food safety guidance and resource access.
Tiana holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Fort Lewis College and serves on the Boards of Directors for Ogallala Commons and the Taos County Economic Development Corporation. A 2020 Taos Women of Impact honoree, she has traveled across the U.S. and to India, Italy, and Belize to learn from traditional and Indigenous foodways, seed saving, and food sovereignty movements.
