From NMDA’s Healthy Soil Program: Conservation planning with USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS)

Farmers, ranchers, and other land managers (collectively referred to as Individual Applicants) familiar with NMDA’s Healthy Soil Program know that conservation planning with USDA’s Natural Resources Service (NRCS) is the first and most important step to applying for a Healthy Soil Program grant. That’s why NMDA encourages Individual Applicants to tackle conservation planning with NRCS even before a Healthy Soil Program grant application becomes available in early 2024.
